How it all began...

Advanced basketball program for underprivileged teens

The idea for this camp had its genesis in the winter of 2014. George Pektor, the camp's founder and director, then a Sophomore at Blair Academy in northwestern New Jersey, had just completed his first season playing basketball with Blair. George has been playing basketball for the past seven years both at Blair and at Moravian Academy in Bethlehem, PA. During this time, he realized how fortunate he was to have attended skills development programs and collegiate basketball camps most notably at Duke University. He had also been involved in AAU and travel basketball programs. By participating in these programs, George came to realize that many potentially good athletes do not have the opportunity he has had to advance their skill set through focused training and concentrated coaching. Consequently, the idea for GO PRO SKILLS CAMP was born.
